IFOZ invests in innovations that modernize one of the following two innovation themes:

Strengthening self-reliance

An innovation contributes to the increased self-reliance of the elderly and/or their network, thereby delaying or reducing the influx into formal care.

More effective deployment of labor capacity

An innovation helps healthcare organizations organize care more intelligently, ensuring that scarce healthcare professionals are deployed more effectively. This ensures that the most urgent care remains accessible to the most vulnerable clients.

We focus on companies that meet the following criteria

Substantial impact on Dutch healthcare

Our added value and our network are primarily located in the Netherlands. Therefore, we invest in companies that contribute to accessible elderly care within the Dutch context. We naturally welcome international scaling once the company is ready for it.

End of start-up phase or beginning of scaling-up phase

IFOZ invests in companies that are at the end of the start-up phase or at the beginning of the scaling-up phase. They have proven their added value
on a small scale and are ready for further growth.

Strong entrepreneurship

IFOZ works with entrepreneurs who have a clear proposition, a solid business plan, and a strong (management) team. In doing so, we expect entrepreneurs to be open to active involvement from IFOZ in the further development and scaling of the company.

Investment requirement between €100,000-700,000

IFOZ typically invests amounts between €100,000 and €700,000, suitable for companies in an early growth phase.
