We generally follow these steps from initial contact to final investment:

Initial check
In this phase, we assess whether the initiative aligns with our goals and investment criteria.

Quick scan
We discuss the company’s pitch deck with the IFOZ subject matter experts. These are innovation experts from the investing healthcare organizations, health insurer CZ, and the CZ Zorgkantoor.

Exploration
We conduct an in-depth analysis based on (literature) research and interviews with healthcare organizations, CZ, and external experts. The subject matter experts advise on whether we should invest in a company.

Business terms
We strive to reach a fair investment for all parties, where both IFOZ and the entrepreneur can expect a healthy return on investment. In addition, we also want to make agreements regarding our active involvement and we conduct due diligence. Our investor board, consisting of the directors of CbusineZ and the investing healthcare organizations, decides whether or not we will invest.
